i'm not quitting, but my mom, .....well she's a "lost" cause and not just in this. i haven't figured out how to deal with her "being the center of the universe"!!!! apparently, my dad was the only one in her life that could make her see beyond her self!! but she'll ask my opinion on something and boom!!! i'd get more reaction/understanding from a wall than her, lol!!!! oh well, as much as she denies being of the "union" mentality, because teacher unions weren't around until towards the end of her career, she sure can sound very, very "union"! she actually refused to even want to try to comprehend that most people pay a portion if not all of their health insurance premiums, because she didn't, it was part of her "compensation"!!! she also argued about what is a "right"! this is a church going woman and argued "rights" didn't always come from god. i told her "rights" come from god, period, it's what you're born with, that this latest nightmare is about goods/commodities, not "rights"! i tried to get her to see, if "health" was a "right", we'd have no need for medicine or doctors, because we'd never be sick or diseased!!! (i had been trying to explain, that insurance companies will just increase premiums to cover this new mandate and those paying the premiums will still be paying for something they don't believe in, besides dictating products and prices is unconstitutional) what a joy and revelation she is sometimes......not-hahahahaha!!! (i'm sure my dad was just spinning in his grave after these pronouncements of hers)

i hope we can "get" on the same page with who ever becomes the nominee. to be honest, i don't know that i've ever been this worried about an election in my life!! it's not just the results, but the blatant fraud that's going to happen and the violence on the way to november. sure i was a kid in '68, but i still remember it well. i've tried to tell folks, heck, almost got in a fight with my mom yesterday over the latest attack on the 1st amendment!! she's convinced herself, it's a "catholic" thing and no one is forcing anyone to actually take birth control, it's still a "choice"!!!!!!!!! she's burying her head in the sand more as she gets older, because, "it doesn't affect me" (her very words)!!! i keep telling her, that soon it will affect her, but, ............&##&$@)#@$^), oh well!!! (sorry for the rant, still pissed, lol)

playing with media matters isn't enough for the admin, they're also doing this!!! sounds eerily familiar to what other dictators and dictator wanna-be's have done and still do!

i have posted the redeclaration of independence on my face book page. so if you see it, please spread it. i wrote it after bambam appointed his latest czars, because that was when i "hit the wall". this latest assault on our freedoms is just the beginning. i'm more sure than ever, that we the people are alone in this fight. congress should have responded to this latest attack loudly and forcefully, but didn't!

i've had the same problem on and off for awhile. i figure they're posting something new or doing a bit of site maintenance or something. it's similar to what i experience here on vent. sometimes i can't get the page then when i finally get it, there are new posts/replies at the top!!!
