You ought to give it a try now. I remember when my husband and I saw Goodfellas at the movies and almost walked out on it. Then years later I saw it again and was wondering what I was thinking back then.
I had a liberal FB friend unfriend me. His political posts would consist of anything that bashes Republicans and quotes that support liberalism (some of which he apparently didn't realize were from early American times that pertained to classical liberalism). When I or other conservatives countered him, his responses (as with his posts in general) were hate filled and the typical (1) blame it all on Bush, (2) scream racism and (3) personal attacks, instead of debating the issues. It was like he worked from a liberal playbook. The only thing I lost when he unfriended me was the entertainment value of his posts.

Do they carry a card that shows they are a member of the "group"? That way the government will know they need to "impose travel and financial sanctions".
The people who are interested in the calories in restaurant food already know to go to the chain's website to look up nutritional information. The people who don't care more than likely won't care when they see it on a menu. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a big chunk of lasagna is going to be less healthy for you than vegetable soup.
I don't know if there is more to the story regarding the former police chief, but I am not surprised if what he says is the case in the city of Ladue.
