Naked Security : Fake anti-virus cloaks itself to appear to be Microsoft Update

You could just spoof your User Agent string (easiest to do in Firefox with an add-on), however, that will also prevent legitimate sites from displaying properly. Best thing to do is to enable your browser's security to block attack sites and report them when you see one. For Firefox, enable the "Block reported attack sites" and "Block reported web forgeries" features. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options%20win... Report attack sites and web forgery in Firefox using "Help -> Report Web Forgery..." (or "Help -> This isn't a web forgery..." in older versions). In Firefox 4, you may need to click the "Firefox" button in the upper left corner first (if you don't have the menu bar visible). http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Menu%20Refere... For Internet Explorer, turn on the "SmartScreen Filter" in Internet Explorer 9 and Internet Explorer 8 (or "Phishing Filter" in Internet Explorer 7) for the similar protection. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930168 To report phishing Web site, follow the instructions in this support article (the steps are similar for Internet Explorer 9): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930167 Then all you do is report websites like these (see information above) so that everyone else that don't realize it is a fake won't get caught with this fake anti-virus software. If you want to see what a reported attack site or web forgery looks like in Firefox (if you have the correct options enabled), see here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-an-attack.html http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-a-trap.html

Yes, that is something I'd like to know too... Q: Will Hardcore HQ be permanent on the playlist (after the Double XP weekend)?

IAMfourzerotwo : Beware of fake "COD5" Beta Invites

I believe that when fourzerotwo was saying "We have yet to even officially announce our next project, let alone a beta for it.", that he was talking about it being officially announced on Activision's press releases site: http://investor.activision.com/releases.cfm ... which I haven't found any references to another Call of Duty game being developed by Infinity Ward, Treyarch, or anyone else for that matter.

IAMfourzerotwo : Go Vote

"I guarantee he will read your shit comment here and blow right past it because shit like what you posted isn't even worth his time of day." I never got the chance to read cod48400's comment before it got deleted, but I believe that is more than likely the reason. Anyway... I guess it was a rude or threatening comment talking about the playlist update for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?

Platform Nation : Play With The New Xbox Experience Now

No thanks. I'll just stick with my old, boring, slow, and ugly dashboard that I already have and CAN connect to Xbox Live with for the next 19 days.

IAMfourzerotwo : Double XP This Weekend - plus 50% Variety Map Pack

You get an update and yet still complain? I just don't understand some people... Getting a status update on the new playlist is one thing. If they have a few minor bugs to fix, then let them fix it. Do you WANT to play a game of Second Chance S&D where the other team kills you and then camps at your spawn point to kill you again easily? I don't. If it means that we will get a bug free playlist, then I'm all for it taking an extra week. At least I don't mind the wait.

IAMfourzerotwo : Mixing Things Up - New Playlist Status

Okay... I think I get it. Sudden Death Sabotage is like S&D, but with a neutral bomb where either team can pick it up and plant the bomb, however, you only one life like it is in S&D. Basically, it is like playing Sabotage when the timer reaches 0:00 (Sudden Death), but instead, the entire game is like this to begin with. In addition, you get to defuse and re-plant the bomb (assuming you get the chance to and successfully defuse it).

Sudden Death Sabotage: "DEFEND your objective, WHILE attempting to secure the bomb AND PLANT on theirs." In other words, it is like Search and Destroy, but with ATTACKING (planting the bomb) & DEFENDING (preventing the bomb from being planted or defuse it if it is planted) in every round.

Funny picture. Seriously... ROTFL! Anyway... Can't wait for Hardcore HQ. Keep us updated. One question: If you do a patch sometime in the future, will you be considering adding a feature that automatically kicks team killers after X kills in Hardcore Modes?
