How do you reduce government size without eliminating the ever expanding medicare and social security? My grandfather got more money from social security than he ever put in the system. If teabaggers are serious about government size they need to start with eliminating these 2 programs.

I would love to see if the new congress forgoes earmarks since they are so much against government spending. And How about getting rid of social security and medicare? Since they make up 40% of the Federal budget? You cannot reduce the size of government without touching these two. It should be interesting in the coming days
