The most shrill, shrieking voice on pop radio in living memory.

That's to say nothing about her worth as a human being, or her unfortunate premature death. But to me, she was extremely un-listenable.

The old shuck and jive, the phony-nice-guy facade Obama puts up while he spares no tactic to get his own way -- it's all played out. For some reason people see the issue clearly this time, and they're not buying Obama's routine.

He's just a jackass -- such a jackass, in all situations and under all circumstances, that it's difficult even to look at him. He has absolutely no redeeming qualities, above all not the one of being funny.

Dennis Miller said recently, comedy is sometimes just about reinforcing the listeners' preconceptions and prejudices. That's the ONLY explanation for why anyone claims to find Colbert funny.

He must be what comedians were like in the Stalin era, those State-approved reinforcers of the Party line. A grim, Stalinist comedian. Shudderrrr.

What a contrast President Bush offers to the current occupant of the White House! He's so normal, down-to-earth, relaxed -- a real human being. He's not always trying to manipulate people with childish but slippery rhetoric, like Obummer. He's not constantly trying to score partisan points, like Brian Williams and other fanatical lefties. He's a decent human being and an adult -- all the things liberals are not.

I would like to see the Israelis draw a line around the heavily-Jewish-settled regions, call that the border, build a fence and retire behind their own borders.

Forget negotiating anything with people who will just jerk Israel around endlessly. Present the Palestinian Arabs with a fait accompli and leave them to strew in their own juice.

Of course, that's just a snap reaction, ignoring a lot of considerations familiar to people who actually live there; but I still would love to see it.

I'm glad to hear your opinion. I always thought the movie was preposterous and ludicrous -- though I have to admit, I never watched it all the way through.

Himmler's a Democrat.

Or Democrats are Himmlers. Or at least, some Democrats are Goebbels types: "The Fuehrer is always right! It was an affront for Jan Brewer to stand up to the Fuehrer! She should roll over and beg when he speaks! Because, as we know (all together now) The Fuehrer Is Always Right!"

No, I think she's more like Attila the Hun. Or maybe Hitler. Anyway, she dared to talk back to Obama, and that makes her the worst person who ever lived.

Because remember, comrades: The Fuehrer is always right!
