Somethings need to be kept in mind of these two seem to be of greatest importance

1. Everything we eat is made up primarily from atmospheric carbon dioxide

2, The statistical basis for trend data is not as sound as is given to believe. For example see graph at:

In this figure "noise" is very large and trends not really obvious
