Thanks for the giveaway. This would be great because I could even save money and stay in my own house.

No worries thanks for the help. Do you have a blog post anywhere about moving from blogger to wp. My main concern is the URL and switching smoothly.

I understand, but at least you are writing down some goals.

Partnering with what your church is already doing and aligning your goals with that will yield much fruit. May God give you strength in the second year.

I like what you said about the eject button. This is reaffirming to know that I am not the only one that this happens to. I correlate speaking back to my days of playing basketball and getting prepared. They are very similar in nature. As soon as tip off happens I have tons of fun.

I searched your blog for "monthly reports" and got this...I think this is a great lead to what I was looking for, but could you possibly write a blog post on how to do a monthly report, why monthly reports are needed, and what churches can learn from doing monthly reports.

Monthly reports provided accountability and clarifies where everyone is going, but seems this is lacking in many church structures.

This summer I landed a new job, but I know what one the pivotal question I asked the church was; "What stories do you want to tell about the youth ministry in the years to come?" Our narratives shape and mold our lives, but often times organizations are creating boring stories or churches are focusing on the financial numbers instead of the emotional connection of a story. I am currently at about 60 days into my new role as youth minister casting a vision and strategy about what it would look like to tell meaningful stories. This book would allow me to help process the reasoning behind my thinking and I would be able to pass it on to others after I finish the book. Thanks Michael for challenging and sharing resources here on your blog.

I'm an introvert serving as a youth minister and just finished preaching this past Sunday. I have enjoyed your post last week about introverts and would love to read this book.

Thanks for sharing.

When need to pray for the Holy Spirit to move in our lives.

Highly recommend this book "Seeing the Unseen" by Joe Beam. Biblically solid and guided by a desire to walk in the Spirit Joe tackles this topic head on about spiritual warfare.
