Hi Lynda, Thank you for your comment. The prices are already discounted. Yes, you can hire on a day by day basis (subject to availability). This give you the flexibility to take a day off and not pay. But of course you may have to have your boots and skis fitted each time as they will go back in the rental pool after each day\'s hire. Maybe best if you email me direct. Kind regards, Lance

Hi Steve, There are no prepay 9 day passes. I am sorry but we need at least 5 working days for the lift pass. Buy pass at gondola lift station. Whilst it is too late for the 13th to pr book we have an online booking form under ski packages that is for booking ski hire. lessons, lift passes and transfers. Kind Regards, Lance

Hi , Thanks for dropping by. I\'ll go straight to the point.
Yes it will be quieter by 22nd March. Better too with the Tomba back open.
There are three ways of getting in the VIP queue:
1. Stay at the Kempinski, Grand Arena hotel in Bansko. and buy a VIP pass from them. You\'re right by the lift and this is a super cool way to never queue.
2. Buy a season ticket 980 levs. Well you are a ski bum or a regular visitor to di this. Or me... your intrepid reported that has no time to waste
3. Be a ski instructor
Any other ways anyone?

Hi Lisa,
The best way to do this is to leave it sto the last minute -- see what is happening to the snow. Lifts open before official opening IF there is snow. No snow, No show )as Eric Clapton once said. So don not book flights now, they remain cheap at that time of year. Thanks for commenting.

There is no doubt that there are peak period queues. Queuing a long time is no fun. However, timing to reach the gondola is key and some people have said that they have found the Q cam on this site helpful. Bansko is far from perfection, but I believe it can offer us more than the sum of its parts -- skiing, eating out and nightlife. Oh and I agree, Pamporovo is good too, some very nice off piste there and I would encourage people to try other ski resorts in Bulgaria. Variety is the spice of lift.
