<description>I read Robert Fitzgerald&amp;#039;s translation of &amp;#039;The Odyssey&amp;#039; last year and absolutely loved it -I had not read it before, that I can recall anyway. I think the lyricism is what appealed to me most though I&amp;#039;m with you 100% on the dactylic hexameter...  It&amp;#039;s a shame any film adaptations have been so bad, in my opinion. </description>

While I was in the Gulf War, some of the black guys in my unit were having problems with the &amp;#039;bumps,&amp;#039; it wasn&amp;#039;t until you explained the nature of curly hair becoming ingrown that I grasped the &amp;#039;why&amp;#039; behind it...    could never figure out what &amp;#039;magic shave&amp;#039; was &amp;#039;til now.   </description>
