I love the mini package! So cute!

I'm sending letters for Letter Month; one of which is going to be to my husband, who (for the first time!) actually WANTS to celebrate Valentine's Day!

Hey, I think that would be awesome! I mean... You'd have a hell of a boss (pun intended), but also phenomenal cosmic powers.

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!

I don't feel so bad then!

I'm (hoping) intending to do a status post every 5 days to a week, so we'll see how it goes!

I've seen at the bookstore that she's been putting out new Vampire Diaries stories. I've been meaning to pick some up. So you're saying this new stuff doesn't compare well?

Well. There are several reasons for that, I think.

1) Kisten was yummy, good for Rachel, and I really do miss his influence in the books.
2) Kisten's death was sudden. Matalina had been sick for a long time. Kim said flat out that she had been trying to get up the courage to kill her off for several books, so it's not like it was a surprise - and since she had barely been in several books it was almost like she was gone already.
3) I kind of feel like the mystery behind Kisten's death was a little bit of a rip off. I mean - the killer was someone I don't think we ever met in the main timeline of the story - only in the shorts. So it seems like his death as a whole was sort of... wrong. And a let down.
4) Matalina's death just happened in the last published book, so I don't think it's hit me fully yet.
5) Did I mention Kisten was yummy?

I'm for different projects if that's what works for you. I have 2 current WIPs and I'm going to work on whichever one hits my fancy that day.

Thanks for stopping by! It's always a thrill when the author enjoys my thoughts on their work.

Yes, ditto. I hate that the grids aren't up yet. I couldn't find ANYTHING on the Writer's track and I'm SURE that one could/would command most of my attention *IF* I only knew what was going on. I'm sure this schedule will change. A lot.

As for the WoT track, I basically want to go to the Winespring party, and other than that I'm "filling in" with those panels if there's nothing else to see.

I WANT THOSE SCHEDULE GRIDS!
*sigh*

But we're really glad to be going this year, too. :)

Oh, I'm with you! I love really thick fantasy novels - and series! Endless series!

Also - I got in the habit of choosing the thickest books I could find when I was younger. My mom only took us to the library every month or so, and if I didn't pick up enough really thick books, I'd be left with nothing to read for days on end. It was horrible!

Thanks for visiting! It seems like such a massive task, to read up on all these blogs for the BBAW voting, doesn't it?
