I think Instapaperwill become a killer app for the iPad. When using my news reader, I often use it to keep longer blog posts or articles. I read them later when I have time. Reading in bed with an iPad would be a perfect use case.

Something else might be wrong. I used this successfully under Leopard and I am using it with three Macs running Snow Leopard.

I wonder if it's only Acrobat and Acrobat Reader at fault or if the while PDF ecosystem?

Is it possible to "have two (or more) routes to the internet shared and managed" with ANY wireless network equipment? They way I have the WDS setup on my network the user never notices if anyone of the remote stations fails. The connection is simply handed off to the active node.

Oh aperture mode is my new best friend. Using it with the 18-55 f//5.6 I get excellent bokeh and with the 35mm f/1.8 I feel invincible shooting in the dark! I think that most of the point and shoot cameras have the ability to do what the "occasional" photographer wants - which is better photos. But I don't think they will get any better photos by spending money on a DSLR while complaining about weight and why they can't use the view finder to frame the shot. I also get sick of my family thinking that my photographic results are solely the result of technology.

I have a Nikon. No cult feeling as yet. I just wanted something with an interchangeable lens and more control than my Sony DSC-S70 could provide. A coworker recommended I look at Nikon and I bought the cheapest thing I could find, a D40. I cracked my kit lens when I slipped on a rock trying to get a shot. I replaced it the Nikkor 18-55 f/5.6 VR. I prefer prime lenses so I added the Nikkor 35mm f/1.7 to my kit. I also have the SB400 flash. Nothing else. No tripod (don't need if I have zoom with VR and a fast prime).

If micro 4/3 takes off I'll invest in one of those. I like the smaller form factor of the Panasonic Lumix GF1 and the look is kind of nostalgic.

In OS X 10.5.8 Leopard this option is not there unless you have an iPhone or iPod Touch. In OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard it's there regardless of the situation. I think it will be worth it to spend $29 to get Snow Leopard.
However, there is a hack that will allow you to enable the feature in 10.5.8. It involves editing a .plist file.

The configuration you mentioned (TC as main, AE as relay, and AX as remote) will certainly work. However, a rely simply serves to extend the reach of a wireless network but does not provide wireless services. You'll need another WDS node (either an AX or AE) to provide wireless services. So you'll need to setup the TC as main, the AE as relay, the AX as remote and then another AX or AE as remote for the first AE.
