Make me a weekend anchor, and we'll go easy on you. Just kidding. The mere fact that you acknowledge our existence keeps you off the black list. I wish I could say the same for Joe Hughes. Look forward to some good blogging times with OBNUG and the Sports2Night crew.

Let me just say this: Do I really need to come back to blogging when the local media has done such a good job covering Boise State football in my absence?

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Minor announcement: OBNUG tourney pool!

Tournament announcement: R.Ahrens, J.Sholley, and n.kroes are your leaders heading into the final week of the tournament. The n.kroes is the same n.kroes who won our bowl pick 'em contest, so let's see if we can't break his winning streak. And by "we," I don't mean "me" because I am currently in third to last place. OBNUG announcement: Thanks to everyone for keeping in touch with the comments and posts on this site. I need to tell you something important at the end of this month, so don't go unsubscribing between now and then. You are all the best, but you probably already knew that.

You and me both, Jeremy. Spring football is the only thing that keeps me from becoming a soccer fan. And for that, I owe spring football my life. Plus, we've got the NCAAs coming up. Anyone here interested in doing a bracket pool? I'll set something up and get a few invites out.

No, I'm just saying that we won't hear much of anything from these kids until they arrive in camp in the fall. The media does a great job building buzz around LOI day, but after that, they just kind of pack it in for the next several months and say little. I can hear the wind blowing through Chadd Cripe's Bronco Beat as we speak.

I found out about the MWC thing from the deejays on a Lite FM channel while I was working out. It is not the way I prefer to have my disappointing news broken to me. Although having Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" as a follow-up song did help. Wonder what kept the MWC from including Boise State. Academics? Women's softball? The fear of having all their teams lose to Boise State all the time?
