News From Antiwar.com : Democrats Grow Uneasy Over Obama's Hawkish Policies

Democratic complicity was evident during the Bush administration,as evidenced by a number of Democrats who,for instance, were briefed on torture practices but were silent. Than we have such instances as when Pelosi stated that impeachment was off the table. While there were some among the democrats who voiced opposition to Bush administration policies,it was hardlly loud enough to give Bush any significant pause.Similarly, the recent election in congress for war spending recieved some no votes by Democrats, but in no way indicated opposition to the Obama administrations initial plans for funding war in the middle east.
