Nice to see that EPIC are giving people a second opportunity to own Flashback. It was a great way to get people to buy it new, and now the hype has died down, they&#039;re offering it to all.

TPG : GTA: Chinatown Wars: Why hasn't it sold well?

So you&#039;re saying that most sleeper hits are hardcore games? And also, by your definition, GTA: CW Would be a hardcore game, as I proved the audience is slim, with sales even slimmer.

Agreed. Downloading an Abandonware game is one thing, but this is just taking a dump on the people that really deserve the cash.

TPG : Lime Green DS Lite Swims the Atlantic.

All I can say is that Mothers won&#039;t see this as a games console like gamers do; with this bundle, it will be seen as a handheld device. The Cooking Guide pretty much sorts you out to make the dishes, with a shopping list, changing amounts based on people attending, searchable by time, country and skill level etc. It&#039;s a good start.

www.GamesAreEvil.com | Opinionated | Different | Evil™ : Gender Representation: Is This A Man's Game?

Yes, this gives you quite a bit of whallop for the discussion point. And perhaps we should sidestep the other two to make room for this. I for one would love to see a female Gear. The problem with it atm is that the designers don&#039;t really know what works with women, in my opinion. With guys, just get the designers to smack on a pair of DDs, minimal clothing, and you have about three quarters of the audience. With women, they obviously look for something more: I only see a few women drooling over Chris Redfield. The problem with appealing to a female market, it seems, is that women look for the whole package, and because of that, all the staff (writers, designers, voice actors etc) need to be on the same page, and in such a profit-driven market, only slivers of such a thing pass through the money-sieve.

So by saying that any &#039;idiot&#039; can see that the Wii isn&#039;t a hardcore console, you&#039;re not only simultaneously insulting my fellow staff, but also the commenters that weigh in on the discussion at all.
Excellent point. No-one can deny that the PS3 is the best console of this generation on it&#039;s own merits. It&#039;s the situations that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have created around the console that has put it in it&#039;s current predicament of chasing the 360.

Sounds like someone needs to get out a little more and smell the PS2-branded java. The Wii isn&#039;t the best gaming system ever created. It&#039;s the most <b>successful</b> games console created in recent memory (it could be ever created, I just don&#039;t have the patience to open up another window and go searching for figures). I&#039;ll roll with you on the Xbox, though. It is a proprietary PC, simply because it&#039;s a Microsoft product, and they stuck with what they knew best. And you can&#039;t say that, because I battle it with Eee Sticks and a lightgun.

1) In the UK you have to present ID if you&#039;re trying to purchase an age-restricted game, and you don&#039;t look like the age that the game requires. It&#039;s the <strike>MAWWWWWW</strike> <strike>BAWWWWWW</strike> LAWWWWWW. 4) The only reason they used a UMD drive was because they wanted to create a proprietary multimedia format for their console. Same with the memorycard (I can&#039;t remember what it&#039;s actually called right now). They are doing it with Blu-Ray too. They are using the PS2 marketing strategy like it works on any console. 5) Don&#039;t forget the remake of Persona for the PSP. All they need to do is remake Persona 2 for it, and the entire Persona Series is purchasable at a decent cost.

We were having to have the person recording across the pond in the states, so that is responsible for part of the fading in and out. Let&#039;s not forget that we were doing this as a peak time when a lot of people are on the internet. So long as the audio was understood, then it&#039;s a success imo.
