@john, yeah I still read most on my K3. The Fire is my away from home reader.

@polygeek Yeah the amazon aspect is what i like. The Fire 2 will kick ass. I have been reading that there\\\'s an update for the fire that supposed to drop this week or so, that should address some of the issues, will update and see.

Agreed! We noticed that in most cases the screen capture picked up good audio. way better than the Flip cam. Also we'll probably buy some miss.

Completely agree. The focus has shifted from serving a customer/making a \\\'thing\\\' to \\\'selling to an investor\\\' for most founders.

Yeah love or hate Apple, they were an icon, as is MS and HP, etc. But yeah most are into the quick gratification.

Makes me wonder what the tech landscape will be like in 2025 for the US.

The only reason I assume that's not the case is (and I could be 100% wrong) is that it seems once you've got one device "approved" i would assume the licensing is more platform than unique devices (chipset aside). So with 6 devices I assume the barriers are hardware and software compatibility.

Yeah the tablet phenom has really gotten hot. I like my Xoom a lot, but the iPad still reigns supreme in a lot of places. Yeah I don't see RIM going far, but hope I'm wrong

I suspect AIR linux isn't the only option. it might be the only free Open source one, but sometimes we use things we don't like to use. I suspect there will be plenty of places that move from AIR to other tech, but also plenty that migrate build servers to another platform. I suspect any other server platform can be a build server, like say Mac OSX ($60)

I was thinking closer to $20 a year. Curious how many people you think it takes to run a conference? We do it with 2 people. But thanks a lot for your support :)
