This group color of change is so closely linked to Obama and they are trying to shut down the opposing voices. Is this legal or constitutional? There is something very wrong with this whole thing. Will they come after us next?

I may be wrong but, don't most presidents kind of hold back on their first term. The first four year is spent towards their re-election. If this is the case then what are we in for if Obama gets re-elected in 2012. God help us all.

I am 28, I work for a major delivery company in the USA. I love my country and my family. I have been married for 4 years( i think.... )I have a 3 year old daughter and a 1 week old daughter. I have listen to glenn since 2004. I pretty much agree with glenn on everything except I think that cake is better. I believe in what our founding fathers did and what they started. I want to see our country get back to its roots and principles.

Don't get me wrong I am all about gun rights I'm a NRA member and I have many guns. I just don't want the states to lose any of their power. If I didn't think that the federal gov. would try to take control and change thing for the worse I would be all for it. It is not that bad right now as it is. If you want to take a gun over state lines all you have to do if call the attorney general and get permission(basically just prove you have a permit).

Maybe if the two states had the same regulations. Like in Utah you can get a 31 state concealed gun permit. I only worry that the federal government would not pass up an opportunity.

I think that it may have been a good thin that this bill didn't pass. I could see a lot of bad thing come because of this bill. Like because not all state have the same requirements for permits, so I could see the Federal government get more involved and set their own requirements or even rewrite them completely. I for one would like to have the states have more power and the federal have less. Or maybe since gun owners will have the rights to have their permits recognized in other states why not gay marriage. It opens a doorway to a lot of other things. Politicians are sneaky people and I don't trust them.

Wouldn't it be smarter to lower the corporate tax rate and to get rid of the unions. Think of how much money they would save. While we are at it, how about not letting congress force these companies to retool all the time. Just my thoughts.

Your absolutely right. The very first thing we need to do before we spend anymore money on anything is pay off our dept. I don't think the ones in office right now really know how that works though.
