Wow, glad you could make it... like you say, this one is complicated! I made one out of card stock and glued a couple origami lotus flowers on it and gave it to my administrative support staff. I have a non-decorated one on my desk at work.

You can buy a paper cutter like the one I use at an office supply store like Staples or Office Max, or a craft store like Michaels. They're also on Amazon.com

You can definitely use a bigger square, and it'll work. If the paper gets too big, I'm not sure how well it'll hop because it starts to get heavy, but it'll still look like a frog.

it'll vary depending on your skill and speed... but around 20 to 35 minutes to complete all the pieces and link them together.
