Thanks Jen- its hard to remember when a saying comes from the Bible, or if it was just 'ol Ben Franklin...

I have conducted my own research many times, and it has led me to where I am today. I started in a pentecostal church as a kid, attended a Grace Brethren school for 7 years, spent 10 years as a non-denominational, did a brief stint in an Episcopal church, and now as a Lutheran, I'm going 'round again with more crappy doctrines being introduced in the church. Maybe I should go Greek or Russian Orthodox next?
Don't get me wrong, there are many good teachers in every flavor of the Christian Faith, but there are some issues that are more important to me than others.
Phil 2:12 My dear friends, you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I'm absent. In the same way continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Eph 4:14 Then we will no longer be little children, tossed and carried about by all kinds of teachings that change like the wind. We will no longer be influenced by people who use cunning and clever strategies to lead us astray.

Eugene, Kayla, Mike- thanks for the input. I guess I'm striking a chord with some people. Maybe there's some merit in thinking this through a bit more, making a few more revisions, and adding/ expanding a few things.

Thanks, everyone- it's still a little rough, and it's been a long time coming because I've written and re-written this piece several times going back to Sept-October-ish.
I just think that some issues are more complex than we'd all like to think- and Jessie, your presence reminds me that I haven't really added the generational aspect to any of this...

I dunno, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one, Mike. Try making payroll on a high cost, low margin, low turnaround product and see if it doesn't leave you on edge at times.

I recently put a couple in for a customer and I think they're great! I heard on twitter that there was an iphone app that works with it, but I can't find anything on the app store....

Stuart

Thanks for the clarification. This really increases the benefit for both the installing contractor and the homeowner and increases our ability to get this incredible product out there!
