Yes, stopping every few hundred feet is annoying. God forbid the kids have to walk to the bus stop. I hate that, too.

Read the trumpet description again- "If they fail, the whole band fails." That doesn't always mean they are great. What if Frodo had the ring taken from him? Then he would have failed. My point was that when the trumpets mess up, it is really noticeable. As for the saxophone comment- sorry. I do like saxophone. It's just too easy to pick on them.

I think another reader made the point very well, too. They said that the importance of Tom Bombadil is great, but many people just don't realize it (much like a bass clarinet in concert band!).

My god, it has been a while since I read the books. I totally forgot that each book has two sections. I need to find time to re-read these. It has been TOO long. Thanks!

No, I know. There are some very cool bass clarinet moments in band literature (Lincolnshire Posy for example). But, I couldn't resist.

I couldn't fit her in. I had her as one of the instruments but cut her and replaced her with someone else. I think she was the flute, if I remember correctly.

Samantha, it will actually be a poster but it will be drawn out with all of the characters holding (hopefully) their like instruments (gollum with a saxophone, for example). It is going to take some time to make but it will eventually be a poster. Thanks!

Tone Deaf : Tone Deaf at FMEA next week

Sure, I'll of course consider it, but as of right now I don't have any plans for it. With all of my stuff I am bringing to the FL convention next week I can not see how I could ship all of my stuff cheaply if I had to fly to a convention.
