Nancy Pelosi is the perfect example of a career politician. When confronted, mislead. When asked, deny. When challenged, lie. Even though she is no mental giant and third in line to the most powerful position in the world, she is a career politician. We all must, for the sake of our liberty, make sure that in the future we must prevent the career politician from holding office. We must, by our actions and votes, make certain that we use our power as granted by the constitution to elect those who will serve the people justly, not those who wish to pursue a career.
This is not as difficult as it may seem. We just adhere to the principles of the Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Our Nation's original founding principles and values are what will preserve our liberty.

We the People must be able to open debate on funding major issues, such as "Global Warming" and "Going Green". Perhaps, based on the amount wanted.

I am just a Constitution Loving Average American. What I want for this country is for all to respect the values and ideals that this wonderful country was founded on. Why must everyone be corrupted by power that all that they can seem to see is their own self interests? If We The People were served by those to whom we grant this power as the Constitution clearly shows, We all could be as free and enjoy the God-given rights and freedoms that The Declaration of Independence states of Which every American was Born.

Remember this all of you liberal "thinkers", socialism is enslavement and ensures misery for all. Why are you so willing to give up liberties just to feel "secure". Take responsibility for your own actions and eschew the inducements of the government. Doing so, you will be blessed with the true freedom of which you were born.

How can a supposed thinking person be so uninformed? Do you really think that the only reason to possess a gun is to protect one's property? According to the Founding Fathers whose beliefs were rooted in God's Teachings we are given the following rights by Him: LIFE, LIBERTY, THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Who are you to say that anyone hasn't the obligation to protect those rights?

We The People. The Present Day Federal Government is out of control. We the People must let them know that the way to govern properly and responsibly is to strictly adhere to the tenets of the Constitution. That is the only answer and the only way to fix our problems.

Please think about the outrageous action that the government took this morning by "firing" the CE0 of General Motors. Can anyone see the parallel of this action and the Nationalist Socialist Party Taking Over the Reins of Private Enterprise?

Isn't it Wonderful the way elected officials for the most part learn how to point fingers so easily once they are in office. If I wanted finger-pointing, blame-casting, lying children running administrations and governments (see Washington D. C., 2009) I would lobby to change requirements to hold office and allow five-year-old children to run. Ah, that wouldn't work because people would see how honest and "say what you really mean" children tend to be and want more of it. Just a little bit of absurdity to point out the absurdity in Washington.

CONGRESS! WHITE HOUSE! Be an adult, take responsibility for your words and actions, stop the finger pointing. Serve the people, find the solutions, use your abilities to fix what is broken, not to enrich your own agenda.

How does one do that? Simple, Read the following: The US Constitution. All of the answers are there.

Commenting on the left telling us the best to save energy: If they would simply sell the idea as a bottom line issue, i.e. how much more money you would have left in your pocket; and not as a "save the polar bears in the arctic" issue, then the idea might have some chance of catching on with clear thinking people. To tell us that we don't know best what concerns our private lives is insulting and condescending. Stop insulting our intelligence and ask us to use our intelligence to come up with solutions and ideas to help.

The unmitigated disaster that the present national legislature is proves that career politicians are not in the service of their constituents, but in the service of their own interests. For a member of Congress to become an influential force in the machinations that is "inside the beltway politics" he or she must bend to the will of lobbyists and the "old boy network". Get Rid Of Career Politicians and Get Back to Those Who Wish to Serve.
We MUST respect a STRICT interpretation of the Constitution. All the answers are in that hallowed document. There is no real argument...Live by the Constitution and the government acts as s servant to the people, the people are not betrayed by soulless "law makers".

I tend to believe the people deserve what the receive. We voted for these dishonest, self-serving, power-hungry, partisans. Demand that the Constitution be adhered to and we will change the socialistic path that this government is leading us down.

We must find a conservative leader true to our values of Country First. We must find this leader and give him our full heartfelt Support.

I must disagree with anyone who would like to see ANY U. S. Senator run for the presidency. A Senator is simply not qualified to be an administrator, CEO, CFO, Commander-in-Chief or one who would be able to vet anyone to any position. A U. S. Governor, Former Head of a Fortune 500 Company, Mayor of a Major City are all examples of Possible Qualified People. Look at what we have now....a grossly inexperienced, unqualified U. S. Senator.

I love this country. We the People have a Constitution. WASHINGTON!!!! Read It! Live It! Believe It! No Bail Outs, No Government Welfare of Any Kind. Be Self-Reliant and Live up to your responsibilities. You are not alone! Sorry, I just had to vent.
