I'm not assuming anything--just not making conclusions that go beyond the facts. It probably is a joint.

Brian, I don't know what it is--we can't smell it. It certainly looks like a spliff and he's sure holding it like one, but it could also be one of those roll-you-own cigarettes, like Drum brand cigarettes.

Open access to university courses, at Yale, MIT, Michigan State, UC Berkeley and others (http://www.ocwconsortium.org/use/use-dynamic.html)are incredibly important and useful for everyone to have affordable access to education. A federally-supported program which would grant job corps credit to those who complete coursework via these programs would go a long way toward giving those who have a thirst for knowledge an opportunity to bring their new skills to the workplace.

Hey Kimi, Here's the blurb from the website:

"The Minority Media and Telecommunications Council (MMTC) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving equal opportunity and civil rights in the mass media and telecommunications industries. MMTC is generally recognized as the nation's leading advocate for minority advancement in communications. We strongly believe that the breathtaking changes in communications technology and the new global forms of media partnerships must enhance diversity in the 21st century."
