is ezra aware that one of his favorite documents, The Communist Manifesto, is over 100 years old? What a putrid, little fool.
i own a small business with about 10 employees. my payroll for the whole company exceeds $400.000. the way to beat this 8% payroll tax is to bundle departments in the company into individual small businesses that have payrolls under $250,000. for instance, we have 3 people working in the billing department whose combined salries do not exceed $250k. i will just form a new "billing company" and do all of my business with them. i bet many in the small business world have already thought of this.
what difference does pay-go make. we are still in the hole for $11.3 trillion at the time i write this. where is that money going to come from?
this deal is unconstitutional. the court is suppose to act as a check on the president's power. obviously, they are unable or unwilling to do that. it clearly states in the constitution that CONGRESS should make the laws regarding bankruptcy, NOT THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH. Article 1, Section 8 (POWERS OF CONGRESS) reads:
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States
we need another revolution (yep, i'm going to be on the department of homeland security's watch list for sure now).
if the government doesn't want to be in the car business why haven't they issued options to the bondholders and stock holders to purchase the company and take control of it? it seems like this administration wants to manipulate energy prices (through cap/trade, a weak dollar) in order to artificially influence the market to buy the products that they want the american public to buy. GM and GE are 2 companies that would benefit from this. it's very disturbing.
i refuse to buy anything produced by the US government or the UAW. that is why there is a shiny new acura sitting in my garage. this is coming from a life long american car buyer.
tricare as a primary insurance is one of the worst payers out there. there are few doctors that actually accept it. as a secondary to medicare it isn't as bad.
i work in medicine. the art of the physical exam has been lost by many practitioners. i have seen things missed because a doctor doesn't even touch the patient. some of us still practice the old way. i always see patients, take a histoy, exam them, and then verify my findings with studies as necessary. many don't do it this way anymore.
the other thing never taken into account is that fact that many unnecessary tests are ordered to safe guard against lawsuits. it drives the cost up considerably.
the democrats have been having dead people vote for years. they might as well tax them too. their new moto is no representation, without taxation.
