It depends what you’re looking for, but try to drive as many of them as possible. If you want a nice interior and AWD, go with the Audi. If you want a better drive, go with the BMW. If you want to save some money, go with the Mondeo. The Passat CC and Volvos are lower on the list.

I was thinking about this while watching it last night on YouTube and Ferrari was also my impulsive answer, but if we're looking for the manufacturer with the most "great" cars, it shouldn't matter one iota how many rubbish rides they made, that's not the question. After a little more thinking, Bugatti and Duesenberg have disturbingly impressive records. Still, if you want to look at mainstream automakers, Datsun/Nissan is in a deadlock with Citroën. The Z cars and the GT-Rs or the DS, Traction Avant, 2CV, and SM. Hmmm...

Will I get booted out of here for suggesting a Nissan GT-R? I know Lieberman wouldn't (completely) disagree. Those useless rear seats just add more storage and it would be just as relaxed on the freeway as it would be unbeatable in the twists. Basically the un-2CV.
