Jackson Miller :: the philosophy of technology : Come On Nashville, Let's Do Better

It wouldn't surprise me if the quotes I lifted from Venture Nashville were actually spoken. Besides, if they crafted those quotes in a press release, isn't that all the more reason there should be some substance? I am interested to see if something happens with the Entrepreneurship Program or a physical center. Either way, a website seems pretty useless, so why waste the time? Why not just start with something that would actually help the entrepreneurs?

Feld Thoughts : Great Entrepreneurs Believe in Karma

I have been the recipient of 20 minutes of your undivided time once before. From the entrepreneur's standpoint, having someone knowledgeable listen and provide feedback is validating. There is no certificate or diploma for "entrepreneur" so those kinds validating meetings have really taught me alot. Thanks!

Thank you sir. You do bring up the huge glaring problem. I have an iPhone and an AppleTV and unlimited mobile internet, etc. That is a pretty privileged setup. Still, I never thought I would write a post like this.

Thanks for the tips. I will check those out. I really like the format of your Grand Unified Weekly. I am going to add it to my Apple TV and add it to the stuff I watch with the kids.

The way it is now, only a major party candidate in the general election can really elevate the level of discourse.

I do see a distinct difference, and if there was a traditional conservative candidate I think it would have been a much better election. There was the potential for an extremely elevated level of discourse in this election that did not happen. My opinion is that this is because McCain didn't allow it to happen, possibly because he was defending a weak (NeoCon) position. I think the greatest thing to come out of the 2008 election will be the redefinition of "Republican".

Jackson Miller :: the philosophy of technology : The Perfect Time Signature

I don't really understand your question. A quarter note would get two beats. A dotted quarter would get three. A half note would get 4 beats, a dotted half would get 6. A whole note would get 8 beats and a dotted whole note would get the entire measure (12 beats).

Thanks for the opportunity to revisit this. It was fun. Also, I think your math is a little off: 137 * 0.02 * 365 = $1,000.10 / yr (without a single day off)

Interestingly, I just checked google and this post is now #5 when searching for "Coconut Bra". Not that I really care about that search term, but I guess it means that "my competitors" are not getting their money's worth from Link Viper.
