Hi everyone,

i have a new iphone 3GS, it is NOT activated (only get emergency screen) and SimLocked, never jailbreaked before. Here are the details that i have read out via TinyUmbrella:

I have tried to Jailbreak it with the latest guideline as described above using Redsno0W 0.9.6b6 under Windows XP, and using the "iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore.ipsw" Firmware that i've downloaded. Everything looks ok in redsn0w, i get into DFU mode and the software starts doing it's thing. Then suddenly the iphone reboots into normal mode, while redsn0w remains in "Executing limera1n", and the finish button remains greyed out.
I've also ticked the "Install Ipad baseband" tickbox, but according to TinyUmbrella the baseband remains the old one (which might be a good thing).

Now i don't know if I made a mistake somewhere (just thinking if it's worth doing factory reset in itunes and try again), if i should use a different software, or wait for a new tool to become available since i'm on (most likely) a new bootrom.
