Big Journalism : Is Obama Programing Media Matters Or Is It The Other Way Around?

Yeah, that's why I used the term 'useful idiot'. He's like the puppet who is arrogant enough to think he owns his own strings.

Obama is the ultimate useful idiot. He has the orator's skill and a media teleprompter. He has no real accomplishments, other than being installed by a wave of race oriented, Mao style 'hundred blooms' propaganda. McCain lost only by about 4-6%. That was then. This is now. This is post Tea Party and post Occupy. Every body is watching. Every body is angry. Every body is getting sick of the race card and the government strong arming. This guy's handlers just desperately want us to provide a violent excuse to trigger their candidate into using emergency government power.

Big Government : A Message to the GOP from Two Latino Conservatives: Don't Blow this Opportunity!

'Now at this point, neither candidate has shown that they can secure the coveted 40% of the Hispanic vote, but the GOP has been given a unique opportunity to connect with the Latino community, which could help them towards that goal.' All of my conservative Hispanic friends, who came here legally, don't care about the aggregation and sociological division. Much like conservative African Americans, they want to move beyond the tired liberal templates of color/race/gender/(whatever) . They just want all the same liberties and freedoms we all enjoy, under the Constitution, without Federal harassment. They want rule of law to be enforced and not ignored capriciously for political gain. They want the immigration system fixed for legal entrants, so they don't spend years wallowing in red tape, fees and bull*. They don't want to see others put ahead of them. Enforce the borders. Fix the hideously inefficient bureaucracy. The latter will be arguably far more difficult and expensive, given the current standards for quality government service. This is why the government wants the quick, dirty and cheap way out. Fixing the system is harder than blanket amnesty (gaming the system). It's so hard, they have been pushing the fast track crap on us, aggressively, over and over and over again

Big Government : Racist Occupy Wall Street: Movement 'Clearly' Has Race Problems, Says Occupy Newark Leader

Clearly the OWS central planning mindset, a product of Marx, only believes in socialist elite control of their constituency. All for their own 'good'. Tea party members believe in personal responsibility and liberty. It's obvious which movement will welcome newcomers.

I am with you in spirit Ashdreg. Rick is a good man, but good men are hard to integrate into a process designed to destroy them by intimidation, censorship and content manipulation. I admire Newt for going after the first of these, but I see the devil in the details on the latter. I don't want to see another executive, abusing the office, to exert power.

I will probably be flamed, but I just don't trust Mr. Gringrich. I have voted every year of my life since 1983. I am very careful with my year to year view of politicians. I have watched him every time he has stepped into the limelight. He's got a powerful presence. He has an ability to debate and assemble a rhetorical toolbox that makes him a master of situational awareness. Situational awareness, followed by sound bites and MSM flagellation makes us all feel pumped up. I also have seen democrats use raw emotional appeal to leverage people's anger, during campaigns. It is an easy tool to get people to say 'Screw it, I want a fighter this time!'. I have seen Mr. Gingritch dip into this well too many times, with 'across the aisle' appeals, to buy his product. I am very nervous about this situation.

There is always the time we first sight the iceberg, where we get a chance to try to steer clear, or ask for help in this task. We can always hope that sanity will prevail and more people, like this man, on his side of the divide, will see the light and join us in ending the entitlement meltdown of America.
