This has so many potential positive side-effects to it... I LOVE it!
1. You get to see the effectiveness of a students passion lived out in front of you
2. You get to disciple their efforts and sharpen their spiritual lens for spiritual effectiveness (you're not just "feeding the poor" you're opening doors to effectively present the Gospel)
3. There's HUGE opportunities for teachable moments through frustration, negative results, failed attempts, lack of vision casting, low involvement, etc.
4. You get to illustrate following vision as you stand by and support them... they will learn how wonderful it feels to have someone believe in them and will potentially become a better follower of Jesus' vision as a global vision, and their churches as a local one.
Awesome stuff... I feel inspired. Which means I'm going to copy you and take full credit so I look better because I'm needy. HA! :)
