Hey Pasta, not that it's a big deal, but did Favre take the Vikings to the Super Bowl in any of those simmed seasons?

Great post pasta! If you remember, I was asking you for more info about this game about a year ago :) I'm really excited to hear that the tackles are fun and gratifying.

It sounds like they have a lot of work to do, but one of my favorite things is the passing system. The controls seem similar to skate and fight night where you use the right stick for a majority of the controls. That system always felt smooth to me so I can't wait to see how it works with a QB.

I really like the way this injury system works. My only problem is, and maybe I'm in the minority, I don't like having injuries during online matches. It would be like having gun jams in an FPS match.

I know injuries are a part of football, but when I play someone online I want to beat them with my team the way it is. There is the argument that if you are good, you should win anyway and I get that. However, I just don't like the idea of having them as much online. I like them in franchise/season mode though.

A much needed upgrade for the Vikes. Both in madden and the NFL. Tarvaris Jackson is 0-6 in games where he threw 30 or more passes and Sage Rosenfels is an upgrade, but still has not proven that he can be a stand out QB in the league.

Favre may not be the answer to the purple's first ring, but I believe he gives them a better shot than the other options... only time will tell.

I wasn't really interested in ncaa 2010, but the more I read about the new features, the more I want it. Keep up the great work on the updates pasta.

Cool post. Always like reading these. Being a Vikings fan I can totally see Eben Britton being taken in the first because Childress is predictable, but I honestly would love to see Percy Harvin taken there despite his issues.

I doubt they would take a "leaper" WR in the second though because we already have Sidney Rice and he barely gets used. Pat White worked out here in Winter Park so I wouldn't doubt seeing him being taken in the second.

Yeah, but Eben isn't a great value at pick 22. I say look for the vikings to pick best available for WR or CB. There is a RT they can take in the second round by the name of Phil Loadholdt.

I think Nintendo is smart for the way they are selling their controllers. As a consumer do I like it? No, but as a business model it works well. When you put it at $80 a controller it sounds bad, but when you say $20 to upgrade something you already own it seems reasonable. I am really interested in seeing how much of an improvement the M+ is.
