The show was cancelled. It is all about ratings. Just because people agree with the guy doesn't mean he makes a good TV host. Fox Business needs to make money. Maybe people just don't like doctrinaire Libertarians and all of their conspiracy nonsense some of which is evident on this thread.

The Santorum worshipers here are hilarious. 2 weeks ago they were rabid for Gingrich but now the scales have fallen from their eyes and they have proclaimed Rick as their long lost savior. Gee, why didn't we notice him sooner? Could it be because he was a mediocre candidate that had no chance of beating Obama? Yes, that was it.

I had already decided to disassociate with the Republican party but now the Conservative movement has beclowned itself too by getting behind one loser after another at the behest of Limbaugh, Levin and Palin. Santorum is not a Conservative by any stretch. His message is aimed at the very people that didn't vote for him the last time out when he lost by 18 points in his home state. A state we need to win in the fall I might add. Trying to out-appease the Democrats to get the union vote will fail miserably. Good luck with him.

Santorum's family narrative is nowhere near enough to carry him through the rest of the primary season much less win the election against Obama. I also don't agree that he is that likable. His general demeanor is not presidential in the least and he is a lightweight.

He is the last non-Mitt candidate still standing which means he was the last choice behind many other mediocre candidates like Newt. To now crown him as the savior Conservatives have been waiting for is absurd as it was with Gingrich before him.

Santorum will now be vetted thoroughly and if recent history is any guide his numbers have nowhere to go but down from here. All other Mitt challengers had a brief spike followed by a dramatic fall when their shortcomings became evident. Mitt's shortcomings are baked in the cake so there will be nothing new to uncover unless he commits a few more major gaffes which I don't expect he will.

This is a major victory for the people's right to engage in fecal contamination. Now we can truly have a great and prosperous nation.

I have been saying this from the start. I knew Newt's wife would never be first lady of this nation. He doesn't want her talking to reporters because he knows the inevitable questions will start being asked. Namely those regarding her role in his serial adultery. She is a robot 23 years his junior who obviously is more of a paid servant than a wife.

Sounds like they blew it. Nothing was gained other than feeding some egos on both sides.
