Clearly you are talking to the wrong people about airing dirty laundry. The correct people to contact would be Monica Boyer at Kosciusko Silent No More and Peter Recchio at TEA-MAC, seeing how they were the ones to sent out the dueling press releases. Go to the source if you want to yell at someone. And really, maybe you should do some fact checking of your own before you call something "shortsighted and reckless" while at the same time admitting you "do not know the facts".

If there are good people in the union maybe they should do the right thing and let their voices be heard about how violence is wrong. Silence is consent. It is as simple as that.

But don't you think that making such a huge deal by boycotting really does limit effective evangelism in the homosexual community? We as Christians have a hard enough time getting through to the gay community. Even Jesus ate meals (which really was a big deal at the time) with people who were tax collectors and prostitutes. I understand the qualms that many organizations have about participating in a conference that accepts openly gay organizations. But I also want people to understand the maybe unintended ramifications of shunning such groups. I feel like this kind of behavior slams the door shut on any inroads that could be make in trying to get our message across. If you have a conviction stay away, that is fine and I respect that. This isn't about me telling people what to do, it is about understanding the full course of actions.

So yeah, I don't work for the GOP, the Tea Party or anyone else. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that those on the Left who claim to care about the environment are a bunch of hypocritical liars. Why should they clean up after themselves anyway? They were bused there for free, handed a pre-printed sign and told to go wander around like a drone by their union bosses. Clearly they can't think for themselves. Any person with half a brain and an ounce of respect would know not to leave trash all over a war memorial.
