I am not married yet but my college roommate is getting married this October to her first everything. I think it shouldn't matter. When you are ready to get married then that is truly the first person you have fallen one hundred percent in love with.

This book was amazing! It had some really sad parts so be prepared to cry!

It is great that you are talking to a psychiatrist about the break up! Why can't get you get in touch with him? I am sure you will get over it but it will take time. My first love and I are best friends; we did not have the "normal" first love relationship. There was a time when we did not speak and I felt very low even lost sometimes. You will never forget your first love because that is a part of you now but you will be able to move on ... in time!

I would just say it when you feel it is right. I wouldn't over think it. If you try to make it romantic and memorable it puts way to much pressure on you and him. What kind of reaction are you looking for? I would just let the words flow naturally. You will know when its right ... trust me

It is so hard to even notice when you start losing yourself to the relationship. Sounds like you have found yourself and that is great! It happens to everyone at least once!!!
