I'd like to know where he's ostensibly buried, so that next time I go to NY I can have somewhere to take my dog to go for a walk with.

He is replacing the apparently unworkable 2007 system with what is
being presented as a "comprehensive, proven, and cost-effective" system,
i.e. the almost ready for prime time American-funded Israeli Arrow
system, which will be deployed in Turkey, Azerbadjan and perhaps
Georgia. In the meantime Poland will still get enhanced Patriot missles
which are being sold as ABM-capable as well. It's all still the same,
but even better version of the encirclement and first-strike threat
against Russia (and will be answered to as such) but now more neatly
tucked away from eyes of those spoil-sport Europeans.

Raimondo opens with "It's not just Afghanistan..." I would agree if this assertion would follow up by exposing what the Afghanistan adventure is really all about.

Go back and read your Desraeli and Brzezhinsky and bone up on the "Great Game", man! Why do you really think all the Pentagon propaganda organs keep reminding us that even though we're certainly winnnig there, we will still have to stay in Afghanistan for 10 years or more? To invade Central Asia and ultimately , Russia and then China will take a lot of big time preparation, not to mention the pipeline that has to be built in the mean time. In case this argument is labeled as a loony and paranoid consider the escalating terrorism in the Caucuses, Tibet, and Uighuristan and how remarkably convenient all this "separatism" happens to be to Wall Street and the Pentagon. Why are these Chechen "rebels" so much more adept than any of the "terrorist" out there in front of the American forces. And why is it that these terrorists and their "governments-in-exile", which instead of being arrested on the spot and tried or at least deported to answer for their terrorist crimes are comforted and lavished with praise for their unflinching struggle to achieve "democracy". Criminals like Zakaev, Berezovsky, the Lama, Kadeer, Sakashvili, who are either outright members of various terrorist organizations or condiuts of the very substantial support flowing out of the Pentagon to these organizations.

What will the Pentagon and Wall Street do when China and Russia finally decide they've had enough and call them on it? Will all this leads to WW3 and 4 or 5 billion dead. Well maybe some Lebensraum is part of their plan as well. A plan well understood and almost totally agreed upon at this point whether on the White House, Capitol Hill, Wall Street, the City, or Downing Street

295/eight months killed is NOT a soaring death toll. 2,950 killed would not even be worth wimpering about. 29,500 killed per year is an easily sustainable casualty rate for a conglomerate war machine the size of NATO. Get a perspective, you sound like some kind of liberal pansy.
