Glocks by factory notice can not shoot Lead because lead fowling can cause high pressures in the barrel. While many Glock owners state otherwise we can only judge by what the factory claims for their pistols are and separate the myth from the reality. Glock has been given the opp. To back up the claims of most of their owners and doesn’t wish to do so.
So do not attempt to personalize my view of the Glock we rate them by the factory engineering vs the real world use. A gun that can’t withstand lead build up is in my opinion no worth risking falling in a puddle or rolling on the ground with a suspect getting the gun dirty then trying to fire it. OR in otherwords Practical use worthy. Glocks issued to foreign military are built different that commercial US sales and manufacturing, for those about to jump to some article about a glock in a foreign country shooting in a sandbox of a living arena.
Glock is now paying the price for making sure their gun was in every movie possible with new laws aimed at Glocks manufacturing using polymers, the first of which being signed by Bush many years ago.

Stop trying to use government to save people from themselves. There is no cure for DEATH. It will come in some form giving up all the money you ever make in life will not prevent that. Seek help for your projection of impending death and your avoidance of it is empowering dictators.

The Tariff of 1828, enacted on May 19, 1828 (ch. 55, 4 Stat. 270), was a protective tariff passed by the U.S. Congress. It was labeled the Tariff of Abominations by its southern detractors because of the effects it had on the Antebellum southern economy.
The goal of the tariff was to protect industry in the northern United States, which were being driven out of business by low-priced European and particularly British manufactured goods. This prompted the U.S. to put a tax on imported goods. The South, however, was harmed by having to pay higher prices on goods the region did not produce. By reducing the importation of British goods, it also made it difficult for the British to pay for the cotton they imported from the South.[1] The reaction in the South, particularly in South Carolina, would lead to the Nullification Crisis that began in late 1832.
Failing industries,do to exportation of the goods to foreign countries, protected via taxation . Sound familiar?

First When you want to talk about spending quote Motley Fools math.

13.2 trillion dollars so far
Secondly KNOW what a small group can do. A small group of 50-100 people can BE AT your city council meeting AND/OR County Commission meetings. YOU CAN DEMAND they balance the local budget WITHOUT ANY FEDERAL OR STATE HANDOUTS.
Make your city/county independent of the rest of the country and you effectively DEPOWER Washington's pork. A show of force at the local level can scare straight the starting careers of future politicians.
If you can't run an independent local government then we can't depend on your community to vote to improve the country.
