I am not holding my breath on this audit going anywhere. Sadly, this is the first Fourth of July in my lifetime that makes me wonder how much longer will we have a USA to celebrate??? Obama, Frank, Boxer, Pelosi et al are doing everything they possibly can to run this country right into the ditch & we just sit back & go along for the ride!

What makes me livid about "Go Green" initiatives is the same thing that makes me livid about all other PC Causes that the Left espouses...Their bottom line is Always: MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. E.g., You WILL go green & drive a small car even if you've had the nerve to produce four kids. Or "You WILL hire/marry/kiss up to everyone who says they're GLTBWXYZ because no matter what your church teaches because we know better than your church." Or "You WILL allow us to kill people before they're born, or if they get too old or cost us to choose between their care & running our GM company".
Basically, I'm sick of getting "it" shoved down my throat. I'm gagging. Help.

Most of these are good suggestions & I voted for the ones that make most sense on your online poll. My concern is that none seem to address the root cause of the mess our country is in now. I.e., We've got to again be sure that "All men are endowed by their Creator with inalienable rights" is enshrined in our laws. Specifically, somehow, someway, someday, someone is going to have to mention the A -Word because over a 1,000 people a day are being robbed of their inalienable right to live in this country everyday.
I know no one wants to go there. I don't either. But, until we do, good as all these suggestions are, we're building our house on sand. If the Abortion Standoff is not dealt with equitably through law, there will be another Civil War. There almost is now.

Can Glenn or anybody tell me if our current US President has a real "born in the USA" birth certificate? Someone on another blog was questioning this & I thought it'd been put to rest during the campaign. Please tell me he does. Everyday in my life has been more bizarro than the previous one since Nov. 5, 2008 & I really don't want to believe that this country has elected someone who wasn't even born here...although that'd explain alot of the comments O has made in Europe this wk!
