who decides what the food of the week is?

i can't check-in by texting from my phone! tried deleting the settings and starting over, but i'm not even receiving the confirmation code. yes i did use the country prefix, and this isn't the first time brightkite broke down on me... =( very sad now.

i wonder why @Brightkite is almost always coincidentally down when i am about to do some serious traveling.

well, from what i remember, GPS is quite ubiquitous in Japan (driving route assistant thingy in the car). are GPS-enabled phones THAT ubiquitous in Japan? this makes me jealous =P and why i think Japan is that awesome to begin with.
