Big Hollywood : Veterans Day on the 'Tonight Show': Dennis Miller Salutes the Troops, Rips Pelosi, Brings the House

Spitz, As a Major in the Army I can tell you that's the regulations only prevent us from taking part in in a "partisan" political activity while in uniform. Going to the Tonight Show and laughing at a comedian wouldn't qualify. There is a fine line on how service men and woman should involve themselves in politics - on the one hand we encourage our Soldiers to be informed and vote but it should never cross the line into publicly advocating for a political party. Trust me - you do not want the military involved in the political process. George Washington was very aware of the dangers involved with going down that road. Our job and oath is to protect and defend the constitution (first and foremost) and to obey the orders of the Commander and Chief (regardless of how much his policies may piss us off!).

Breitbart.com : 'Go for it,' Obama tells GOP on health repeal

God I used to make fun of people with Bush Derenagement Syndrome. You know - the ones who equated the previous President with everything that's evil in the world. However the more I hear from Obama, the more of his actions and bald face lies I have to take in the more I begin to have this visceral reaction of pure hate whenever I see his face or hear his voice. I realize I truly despise this man for what he is attempting (and has already done) to this nation. I wonder how many others out there are begininning to have the same reaction? Do the Democrats have any inkling of whats they have given birth to? I see a storm brewing which is going to shake the foundations of our politics - both in November and afterwords.

I was wondering how long it would take before the Seals got involved...thank God Obama didn't decide to let them get away. The more we negotiate and pay these vermin ransoms, the worse this situation will continue to get. Now its time for a campaign of targeted airstrikes to truly hit these scum where they live

You make some excellent points but I did want to counter with a specific example of something positive that has originated from music entering the digital age. Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails has used this new standard to truly break away from the stale commercialism often produced by the record companies (think Brittany/Cold Play etc) and has produced some truly amazing material in his Ghosts and The Slip albums. All produced without a Record Company involved and released from Trents website for free...well Ghosts was $5.00! This type of artistic freedom and ability to mass distribute would have been next to impossible 20 years ago.
