More like MOral Suicide! Everyone seems to be missing the two true underlying stories here...1) The WaPo appears to have knowingly hired a far-left wingnut to be their "conservative" voice in a fake attempt to re-establish credibility with conservatives in hopes of bolstering their sales (after all, even if they hate the word "profit", liberals need to make one to pay the bills). Even in this attempt, they were deceivers. 2) The woefull sales of liberal rags like the WaPo have been suffering from MOral Suicide over the past several years by offering to the public a product based on a lie: "unbiased" reporting. Mainstream jounalism is now asking for taxpayer's bailout money to keep their presses rolling by claiming a need to "balance the playing field" due to loss of readership to electronic media outlets. Instead of taking taxpayer's money to keep producing their biased news reports, maybe they should try offering a true balance in their reporting instead of perpetuating a lie by hiring fake conservatives like Weigel.
