Disney is awesome at times... their endless sequel streaks and abominations such as the Disney Channel are not all wonderful. Now Pixar on the other hand... :)

Considering Pixar's film streak, why would you possibly not want to watch it? Did you even see the trailer? I haven't seen Up yet but the chances of not liking this when you love Wall-E seem incredibly slim.

I'm a huge fan as well, pretty much any guy in the college age group will love this. Quality show, one of my favorites (especially now that Scrubs is gone, bah)

It really is a nice looking design, suits the impressive content much better :)

This is quite old news, if I remember correctly I already knew he was a student who did this in his spare time 3 weeks ago. Was there really ever any mystery? You can clearly see all the influences from various games/series/movies though, definitely a very interesting take.

Having a bit of 3D experience myself, it must have taken him some serious dedication to pull this off, probably in the range of 6-12 months, but it's far from impossible. At least to me, it's quite obvious this is not done by professionals but by a very skilled student or semi professional. Honestly, I fucking love this clip though. Mad props to the guy, he's got a great future ahead.

Besides the fact that I think 3D is clearly the future of cinema, Michael Bay would be the last director who could have valid criticism for something that is 'gimmicky'. Every film the man has made feels like a gimmick (some not as bad as others, but still)

I suddenly have a new found respect for Michael Bay

After watching the three movies (and really enjoying them) I actually bought this peace-of-crap alleged fourth installment, but it was actually written by a different writer (deceptive marketing ftw). It was complete and utter garbage.

Can't wait for this one though, ultimatum has to be one of my favorite action movies, and even though the story ended nicely, I don't see a problem of either continuing the story OR having a prequel (this I would really enjoy)

Not interesting by any stretch of the imagination.

"Despite Surnow’s conservative bias and a suspiciously slanted press release, executive producer Michael Prupas claims that it will be “surprising, arresting and truthful”...."

Well that pretty much sums it up.... It's like Fox being "Fair and Balanced". GTFO

Box office in the US is less than 50% of worldwide total nowadays. Add to that the DVD sales, merchandise etc. etc. and the fact that it's a fucking James Cameron movie, and it will certainly break even to say the least.
