The regulators of the governments monetary policies have been in power for decades, they happen to be ALL big government people. Rangel, Frank, Dodd drive the tax and financial regulatory mechanisms in our system. They happily gave us the housing and banking collapse. Not through failure of free market, but failure of central planning.
I find it amazing that we forget/overlook the very people that harp about capitalism, the left! Created the very regulations, policies, corporate tax loopholes that produce the bailouts bubbles and tax evasion they harp about.

I can tell you this, after reading the comments; I have come to the conclusion that some of you are NO BETTER than the people that call the tea party "tea baggers". You are no different than the left that only see their side of the coin. Some of you are so bias against anything different then you, I am actually shocked. I respect your positions, and support your rights to have them, no worries. But you call people names just like what I hear from the left about you all. Just because I or someone else has a different political view then you, you call them made up names. I don’t care really; it just shows me that you all are clearly just like the people in office now, only a different flavor.

Huh? So let me break this down, He isn’t a libertarian because he doesn’t like violence! He wants the rule of law to be enforced by declaring war before sending people to war. In your mind he a, "raving lunatic"
1. Not wanting violence "btw is an individual’s right to believe in non-violence"
2. Wanting to follow the constitution in declaring war, when no other means are available to end a conflict.
How is the never ending war's working out for everyone these days.
In summary = He isn’t a libertarian because he spoke about his personnel belief in non violence, yet he supports your personnel beliefs in caring a firearm for self defense, your 2nd Amendment right. So freedom of expression is only ok if it’s the same expression as yours.
He clearly follows the constitution, his voting record has never strayed from it, yet he isn’t a libertarian in your eyes because he doesn’t believe in the same thing you do. hmmmmmm

It’s a two party system, so you’re not mad at the game, but the players?
So he is an egomaniac for not falling into your narrow minded ideology? He is not worth the time of day because he doesn’t fit your mold as a republican? Doesnt he cacus with the party?
Your views are extremely narrow and childish.
I don’t know who in the party is worth my vote, but I would like to see all the players and listen to all the arguments.
I have to ask, you claim to be a conservative but fight for the progressive republicans in the Republican Party? WOW

I don’t know who I will vote for, all I know is this country is doomed if we keep making the same choices and expect different outcomes. At least I know where Ron Paul stands. He has a following, and its people that actually want our leaders to follow the constitution. But apparently you all want to follow the constitution only when it helps your ideology. It isn’t the Ron Paul’s of the world that history will blame for our loss of country; it’s the people that are more interested in the good ol’boy club then their individual freedoms. You want a change but lack the courage to look/read and debate outside your own party.
