Wtf with that on an afghan? I also didn't notice the growth of what looked like shrek ears and then disappeared. Knitting suggestions. Erm...I was gonna say a sweater, but if you're teh scared of mittens and booties, then a sweater would not be a great place to start. I do love the idea of hats though. I'm a hat whore, aside from a scarf whore...and maybe other kinds of whore. :D My MIL used to knit kleenex box cozies. Ya know..those dopy things that sit over the box as decoration? She made one that looked like a house, and when you pulled the kleenex out it would come out of the chimney and look like smoke. LULZ! So yeah...I'd go with a tote or hats.

It looks totally cute! Fucking WORD about the weather. My mom is like "This is the worst storm we've had in a long time. School buses aren't even running. It's a total blizzard." And other friends on LJ are all "It's all icy outside and freezing....-10 degrees" and I'm all "I HATE ON YOU!!! IT'S 65 DEGREES HERE!!!" Also? Love the pop-up santa in your shirt. Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with putting her preschool/daycare. Part of being a good mother is knowing when you need to nurture yourself as well. If you're overworking yourself as a SAHM, then you're gonna end being a crabby ass and shit and that's no good. I see it as win-win. Tricia gets some time with other kids and gets used to a school type setting and you get time to be Steph and do things that make you relaxed and happy. You're not being a bad mom by doing this.

Seriously! And of course the beads I like the most always end up being the MOST expensive. I have a good selection right now, so I've just been geeking out on what I have. Like I made myself a nice pair of christmas earrings. They have a white pearl that's surrounded by dangling red beads, so it looks like snow and winterberries. It's very elegant. I'm amazed at how much I love doing it! I even have a bag (that was free) that says "Keep on Beading!!" and it's pink and I totally love it! "Hi, name is Emmi and I'm a beadaholic." 0_o

Yep. I've never been to a Hobby Lobby for yarn. I didn't even think of them. But they do have teh suck hours. And yeah, once you know what yarn you like and how the color is, why not just buy it online. Good choice!

The other scarf that my mom made me, (which was the same as the other one-- just brown and cream)... I just wash it by hand and lay it out....Now that I know!! DUR mom! But yeah, I'd love one. Actually my mom made me a black and grey scarf that I loved and she told me I could wash it...um, yeah no. Whatever the fabric she used was bizarre and it fucking melted!! I could use a new black and grey one, but if you don't feel like making me one, then no worries. I can always have my mom make me a new one.
