The coupons that come in our local paper, over half of them are for non-food or for items to order through the mail. Of the food coupons they do provide, I usually cannot afford to use them as our stores here don't double them very often. Plus, very few of the stores here will take coupons printed from the internet. Luckily, I am able to plant a big garden, so we get most of our veggies from there and I then either freeze or can some for the next year. That is a very good idea about using the coupons for non-food items to donate to charities when you can get the items very cheap or for free. Another good place to donate them would be at nursing homes.
