The code to add the disclaimer bar is referenced under the "More Reading" paragraph, and is from ie6nomore.com. Are you interested in the PHP we used to isolate IE 6 and feed it an old version of the site design and header?
Thanks!

Thanks for your comments. I completely agree on your point that people may search for the jargon, and my example may have been a poor one. It is certainly important to include text for both industry insiders and those without knowledge of proper terminology. Alas, what we see happen all too often is companies that completely ignore any terms that may not be 100% accurate for their industry, even though a significant portion of those searching for companies such as theirs may be using those keywords or phrases. As a result, they could end up ranking very highly for a very specific industry term that no one searches for, while losing out on the potential for significant traffic relating to a term or phrase that they had never thought to include on their site.
Again, thanks for your comment!

Thanks for pointing that out - it looks like we inadvertently broke the preload DIV during our last site update. It is back up and working again, and we just confirmed compatibility in Firefox 3.5.8 and 3.6. Thanks for your comment!

Smashing Magazine is a great resource. In fact, the last item on our list above (the quartz icon set) is directly referenced from them. Feel free to send along any other icon sets that you like from Smashing Magazine!
Thanks!

Could you send us a link to your page? Did you add the CSS in example 3 onto the page as well?

It may be that the comment editor broke your CSS, but otherwise it looks like the spacing in the image named "Button hover (middle)" may be the culprit. Have you tried resaving the image as Button-hover-(middle).png and adjusting your CSS accordingly?

Thanks for your comment. I just tried this out in Firefox 3.5.7 as well as 3.6 and was able to see it functioning properly, is this still an issue for you? If so, what specifically is not working?
Thanks!
