Let me start my reply by clearing up what I think by supporting the issue.

I don't really think we should rely on our government to do the job for us. But I do feel that with all the smart people involved in this issue, there can be some sort of resolution for us all.

I do think we can turn to our government for "help" with the issue and working on a plan to set up a system where they can feel they get whatever monetary gain they'd obviously like to see, but not give them full control of our system.

I'm sorry that the hospital in your area sucks, but it has been proven that free healthcare in other areas has prospered. Allowing the poor to be served and paying the doctors more than enough still. I can research some if you'd like for some sources on that.

In all, I don't think Americans will stand for half-ass healthcare regardless of which way this issue goes. It really boils down to enough people speaking up, and people with enough decency in their heart at the top to pull the right strings.

I've traveled the world a bit myself and I've seen the ridiculous taxes and freedoms we have as Americans exposed. I don't want to turn cheek to all the more serious issues going on right now, this was just the topic of the moment.
