Indeed. Seems that Vimeo's enforcement is dependent on hit count. Some of the other people I'd seen doing a similar thing (and was following the lead of) must not be getting enough traffic to get punted, but we did. Not such a big deal these days now that YouTube's quality has gotten remarkably better.
