I keep getting e-mails asking me "What about Bush's campaign promises? What about Bush's blah, blah, blah..." First of all, this blog wasn't around when Bush was running either time, and second, take a minute to look deep into the blog and you will see where we have been critical of Bush where appropriate. Actually, there are a few campaign promises Bush made that I wish he hadn't kept. No Child Left Behind is one of them, and the Medicare Drug program was another. Right now, this is about Obama. You will have a little Bush Derangement Syndrome for the following months, possibly years. I know it will be tough to move past it, but you will have to try. Oh and all this crap about giving Obama a honeymoon and all that will have to stop. Bush was attacked before the man took office also. "Selected, not elected" ring any bells? That is all...for now.

The red was kinda hard on the eyes. We had a few people tell us that, and after seeing the blue, I agree. Plus, I think the blue circle logo looks a lot better than the red.

When people can't argue their differences the guy with the gun wins.

If this is true, then why are we creating situations where only the criminals and the government (is that redundant) are the only groups with guns?

That makes it really difficult to believe you are "just as concerned about protecting the Second Amendment as are the Republicans." Obama once proposed legislation prohibiting the sale of firearms within five miles of a school. Tell me what city guns could have been sold in if that passed. And for the record, when he had the chance to ban the sale of porn around schools or places of worship, he voted present. Gun sales bad, porn near elementary schools not bad. Intense Debate is a great service. Met the people behind it at Blog World this year. The customer service is great also. Once I just mentioned a problem in a comment and the spokesman from Intense Debate left a comment asking if we needed any help. Can't beat that.

Great question on the State Blogs. Andrew and I started those following the Blog World Expo and the Conservative Leadership Conference back in October. As you remember from last night's podcast, there is strong reason to believe that local politics is as important, or even trumps, national politics. So we felt that we could create a way for people who want to write about state and local issues, but don't know that much about creating a blog. So, Andrew created the sites and we started recruiting writers. If you want to write about issues in your state, we are always looking for more writers.
