One of the things I really loved about the story line, and what sets it apart from things like the death of Uncle Ben is that it happens after Peter becomes Spider Man. So there isn't the sense that it was the result of some horrible tragedy that couldn't have been avoided (as is the case with young Bruce Wayne) but that despite (or perhaps because of) his best efforts a super hero fails. Not the teen-aged Peter Parker waring a mask and trying to figure out how to use his powers, Spider Man fails.

if this is 1/2 as good as the Wonder Woman flick they put out a while back is should be worth every penny
