It is not Washington who is America. It is WE THE PEOPLE...as the Constitution states it. When we the people, like a board of directors, do not like what our employees in Washinton are doing we need to conduct a "corrective action". Thats what a boss's responsibility is. If we mismanage and hire the wrong CEO or other officer of the organization and don't correct it...well what happened with AIG would be like having a company vehicle run into a fire hydrant by comparison the whole company (USA) going under. When our country becomes like the rest of the world, as you seem to be relatively ok with, what will you do then? Feel less guilty maybe? and for what? There used to be a time when being the best and doing your true best was a good thing.

HOW DO YOU COOK A LIVE FROG? set it in water that is room temp and slowly heat the water. if you do it slowly enough, the frog will be cooked before it knows what happened. Now, i've not developed a taste for frogs but the illustration is clear. Why would we be ok with small increases if we know were they lead?

My family immigrated to this country directley BECAUSE of what the rest of the world is like. Why, why would we think its ok to go backwards instead of leading the way? Have you aquired what ever wealth you had in some dishonest, shameful way?
