I have absolutely no desire to watch either. Hope this helps!
Hey Anton! Thanks to Arrow films re-releasing stuff I have been able to watch some of these old 'classics'.
I watched Street Trash yesterday, thought it was ridiculous, mental and pretty great!!
Yep that is after Xmas but y'know. Probably better that way as it'll be hard to find time to read it beforehand.
Completely too late now, but a LWL Calendar would go down well.
Same here. Exact to what Will says. I want to watch this now. I like what Arrow have done. Fair play to 'em. I enjoyed Savage Streets recently, especially Linda Blairs tits.
What's the problem here? LWL's is quirky and creative two reasons there why it's head and shoulders above the other film magazines. I like the double cover. I'm happy with whichever arrives in the post too. __Keep up the good work.
Good interview. I totally agree with Billy Elliot and Full Monty. Working Class Gash made by middle class people. You mention Paul Andrew Williams I don't recall anything romantic about London to Brighton. Shane Meadows too - I love his films, though sometimes there are a few questionable bits, daft things but on the whole all good. Danny Boyle though, no thanks. Not for me.
What a horrible waste of money! Why is there a demand for shit like this and then you see reboots of franchises that aren't even a decade old. Tomb Raider? Does that really need redoing? Superman? "we'll just redo that too and pretend that shitty reboot flop wasn't ever made. The public are thick anyway they'd go and watch another fucking Johnny English film if we made it!"
Yeah they would and decent worthy films won't even make enough money.
This looks alright. But Kevin Smith annoys me. Didn't used to but really does now and I needed no further confirmation than at the start of the trailer to be greeted with "From @that kevin smith" instead of Directed by Kevin Smith. Fuck off.
I do agree with the rating system. I was looking forward to this and came away having enjoyed considerably it but it was patchy and had flaws and it lacked that significant bite to take it from good to special. __Like Kelly Macdonald in Boardwalk Empire, Carey Mulligan was the worst thing about it. Just miscast and not anywhere like convincing as a single-mum-working-as-a-waitress-husband-in-prison. Why pick her?
