There is not sane answer. Gay serve, that is a fact. Their close friends of those who are gay know and it is not an issue. There are no civil rights being denied unless being invited to parties, benefits and housing are an issue and those do not rise to civil rights.

The biggest problem that I see coming from this is this is just a stepping stone. If you look at the comments coming from gay advocates, the repeal itself is not enough. It is about housing, benefits, separate designation as is with race, sex and religion. The recommendations say that any issues arising from the repeal will have to be taken up through the chain of command and they are angry about that.

As for cohesiveness, it will most definitely be a problem. Openly gay troops will seek out openly gay troops they will become their own "group" among the teams and squads. The other problem will be relationships. How can that not be a distraction when deployed. Troops DO NOT bring their wives and girlfriends with them. Even if you are married you are not deployed together!

Never forget, the troops are expendable to these pukes. We have seen it in their words and actions over and over again...the troops are nothing but a bunch of uneducated, losers who have no other options than to join the military.
