I am not offended by your remarks.  You convey your thoughts in a way that is common  for humans that passionately persue their beliefs.

The question's "Why?" and "How?" are foundational in all branches of science.  Theology is obviously less concerned with the How, however it is still very pertinent.  You can divorce yourself from the "why" if you like, but it is and will continue to be throughout humanity a question that we do/will instinctivly ask.  All faith enters into the realm of the absurd.   Even the faith that our scientific observations can fully explain the orgin and reason (or lack thereof) of life.
